Charting New Skies: My Role at Wonder Jets as Aviation Advisor & Business Development Lead
After two decades in the aviation industry—spanning airline operations, procurement, training, and executive project management—I'm excited to announce my new role as Aviation Advisor and Business Development Lead at Wonder Jets.
Wonder Jets is a boutique private aviation concierge service that caters to discerning individuals, families, and corporate travelers seeking seamless, luxurious, and fully personalized charter experiences. From private jet and group charters to cargo and medevac solutions, Wonder Jets delivers with a distinctive touch: discretion, precision, and round-the-clock service.
Why Wonder Jets?
What drew me to Wonder Jets was not just the business model—it was the person behind it. Amanda Chen, the founder, has handled hundreds of private charter missions globally, including for royalty, celebrities, and corporate leaders. Her ability to combine operational excellence with the warmth of genuine hospitality aligns deeply with my own values in aviation: service, safety, and substance.
Having spent years managing aircraft spares logistics, building airline SOPs, and working with both regulatory bodies and frontline teams, I saw in Wonder Jets a unique opportunity: to build a brand that’s both elegant and operationally robust—a rare combination in the private aviation space.
My Role and Contributions
As Aviation Advisor and Business Development Lead, my focus is two-fold:
1. Strategic Growth & Partnerships
I’m helping to position Wonder Jets within the ultra-competitive charter space by:
- Establishing partnerships with operators, FBOs, and luxury service providers
- Advising on pricing strategies and client profiling
- Creating business development pipelines and outreach strategies tailored to the Asian UHNW market
2. Operational Advisory & Brand Structuring
Behind the scenes, I’m contributing to:
- Refining Wonder Jets’ service SOPs to ensure consistency and safety
- Developing training and communication standards that reflect aviation best practices
- Enhancing our digital presence and messaging, including input on website UX and content strategy
The Challenge: Elevating Service in a Crowded Market
Private aviation has grown more accessible post-COVID, but what hasn’t changed is the demand for trusted, human-led service. The real challenge is not finding jets—it’s finding someone who can deliver a charter experience that feels effortless, intuitive, and secure.
This is where I believe Wonder Jets can excel. By anchoring luxury in competence and care, we’re building long-term relationships, not just completing transactions.
