How To Use This Website

This website is not intended to be a complete theology textbook or a formal catechism course.

Instead, Catholic Dad SG is a collection of lessons, reflections, discoveries, and questions that have emerged throughout my own journey of learning the Catholic faith.

Some articles begin with a question raised by a Protestant friend. Others come from a retreat, a homily, a podcast, a Bible study, a conversation with my children, or simply something I became curious about and decided to investigate.

Because of that, you do not need to read this website from beginning to end.

Feel free to browse the topics that interest you.

At the same time, you may notice that certain themes appear repeatedly. The Eucharist, the Mass, Sacred Scripture, the Blessed Virgin Mary, salvation history, and the Jewish roots of the Catholic faith are subjects that continue to deepen my appreciation for the Church and frequently appear in my writing.

Think of this website less as a textbook and more as a growing library.

Each article is a piece of the journey. Some are foundational teachings. Others are reflections. Some are answers to questions. Together, they form a record of what I am learning and discovering along the way.

My hope is that as you explore these articles, you will come to see that the Catholic faith is far deeper, more biblical, and more beautiful than many of us realise.

Most importantly, I hope these discoveries help make your relationship with Christ, your participation in the Mass, and your life as a Catholic more meaningful and alive.

“My hope is that by understanding our faith more deeply,
we may love Christ more fully in the Eucharist.”
